Poppy’s Puppies
A non-profit In Memory of my grandpa Henry, “Poppy”
It all begins with an idea.
Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Maybe you want to launch a business.
Make it stand out.
Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
Make a donation.
Our goal is to personally deliver new, stuffed puppies, kittens, and baby dolls to patients within our community. Watching someone you love slip away with dementia, due to Alzheimers, is painful. Often times, we cannot be with our loved ones as much as we would like. As they regress to the later stages, this modality can help them open up, engage, and bring them comfort. It brought us comfort knowing Poppy had his companion to love & cuddle during those moments we were not able to be with him.
Hidden Gems
-
It's a special keepsake
The grieving process looks different for everyone. However, many appreciate having something physical to hold, once their loved one has passed.
-
Engagement & Acceptance
It might be hard to believe until you see it, but this modality is not “beneath” the dignity of your loved one. This later phase requires acceptance, by everyone involved, as this disease progresses. However, you can still help improve their end of life care, with the love of Poppy’s Puppies.
-
Awareness
This mission helps spread awareness to this sad & degenerative disease, and it shows just how much a little love and compassion can go a long way for their end of life care.
-
Special Delivery
This is a great opportunity for those that want to help deliver “Poppy’s Puppies” and connect with your local community; sit down for a few minutes and chat with those that deserve it most. Who knows, maybe you will make a special connection and find a new friend to visit! You will make their day, and they will have something that gives them a purpose.

Charitable Giving
We all like to contribute what we can, when we can. As such, my family would like to carryout Poppy’s compassion and concern for other human beings and give back to this much needed cause.
